Got to work once more for the Viking Theatre, this time for their upcoming performance of 24 Hours From Tulsk, written by Michael O’Sullivan and directed by Elyn Friedrichs. I never knew Tulsk was a place in Roscommon before undertaking this project so I was glad my geography of Ireland got given a much needed boost once I found out Tulsk wasn’t a place in Oklahoma! For more info on the show you can find it here.
Just wanted to share a few photos I took for the Loaded Dice Theatre Company and their production of “Do We Not Laugh?”, a re-imagining of Shakespeare’s The Merchant of Venice. I covered a photoshoot with them a few weeks ago and when I found out they would be performing in the Pavilion Theatre I was more than happy to volunteer and take some pics on the night for them. It was a wonderful night to be a part of and I did feel genuinely inspired by what I was seeing in front of me. I’ve always loved taking theatre photos and that made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Thanks to Charlotte, Lorna and Louise for allowing me to be a small part of the team and of course to the cast for being so confident and fun in front of the camera!
Some promotional shots below for The Belly Button Girl, the new play written by Tom Moran. Performed by Tom and directed by Romana Testasecca, you can find all the info you need for it on the New Theatre’s website here…
Got to photograph the run through photos of this wonderful show last year, so it was nice to be asked to cover the promotional photography for their return to the stage this year. Touring the UK and Ireland, they’ll be kicking off their show in Smock Alley in Dublin on Monday 18th March, and ending it at the Brighton Fringe Festival at the end of May.
